With limited and rough access in and out of the dunes, injured individuals are transported by ATV to a waiting Lifeflight Helicopter. After being loaded into the helicopter the injured individual will be transported to the nearest trauma center. If the injured person does not know where they are at, Medstar can help in locating the lost person. (Click on picture for more info about Lifeflight)
